2006-01-23 - 18:50 My God, I am wildly in love with this man. Really. he has been so sweet and so wonderful lately...a few times today I actually had to stop what I was doing and think about him. Enough about that, though. The big news for today is that I finally have my own place. I sign the lease tomorrow at noon and move in two weeks. I will be living alone for the first time ever. The rent is probably the cheapest I could lay my hands on, only $380 per month. The place is absolutely tiny, but very cute. It's in a good neighborhood between downtown and the university. I think I'll be able to handle it there. I've spent today setting up the utilities--gas, power, phone, and of course high-speed internet (can't live without it). Can I afford all this? It's going to be tight, no doubt. I'm nervous. Actually, I'm way stressed. But I'll figure it out.
